How It Works

Contract Duration & Support Timing

The service contract is set for a duration of 6 months. During this period, all remote support services are billed in 30-minute
increments.
This ensures that you’re only charged for the exact time used, promoting flexibility and cost-effectiveness.

Hourly Deduction & Prepaid Hours Practices

Hours are prepaid and deducted from your purchased pool as services are rendered. This provides full transparency in billing, as you can see exactly where and how your hours are being spent.
When your available hours drop to 30% or less of your originally purchased hours, we will automatically generate and send a new invoice, giving you the option to top up and avoid service interruptions.

Transparent Time Tracking:

All time spent on your project is meticulously tracked using Nvalent’s internal ticketing system. This system captures every interaction, allowing for clear and detailed visibility on hour consumption. If at any time you would like a report on how your hours have been utilized, it can be provided upon request, ensuring full transparency.

Expiration of Unused Hours

Any unused hours at the end of the 6-month contract period will expire. To maximize value, we recommend scheduling all anticipated support tasks within the contract timeframe.

Low Fund Notification

When your remaining pool of prepaid hours reaches 1 hour or less, Nvalent will proactively notify you via email, providing a clear alert that it’s time to renew your service contract to maintain uninterrupted support..

Scope and Pricing Adjustments

Pricing is initially based on the defined project scope and your environment’s specifics.
However, should there be any changes or discoveries during the due diligence or pre-implementation phase, pricing may be revised accordingly.
This ensures that the agreed fees accurately reflect the work required and that both parties are aligned on expectations.

Consulting Nature & Transition to Managed Services:

This engagement is structured as a consulting and integration project
As such, there are no penalties associated with service-level agreement (SLA) breaches.
However, as we progress, performance metrics will be reviewed, and we may propose transitioning to a Managed Services model if that becomes a more beneficial option for ongoing support.

Expiration of Unused Hours

The pricing provided in your proposal is valid for 4 weeks from the date of submission. After this period, a review of your project requirements may result in updated pricing to reflect any new considerations.

Taxes & Government Charges

The listed prices exclude any taxes or governmental fees, such as VAT, GST, or excise duties.
These may be levied depending on your jurisdiction, and any adjustments in fees due to local legal changes are to be borne by the client.

Connectivity and Onsite Travel

Nvalent assumes no responsibility for connectivity costs between its delivery location and your premises. We expect that you will provide the necessary infrastructure, such as IP-VPN or similar connectivity solutions, for remote support and service delivery.
Any onsite travel required for service delivery will be charged separately and invoiced in addition to the prepaid service hours.

Payment Plan:

Services are billed 6 months in advance. Unused hours expire if not used within the contract period.
